Yesterday, our Sustainability Director, Joaqu\u00edn Navarro<\/a>, took part in the panel discussion \u201cPork with Impact: Wealth, Employment, and Sustainability\u201d, organized by Diari de Girona<\/a>, Interporc<\/a> and Prensa Ib\u00e9rica<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The conversation focused on the meat industry\u2019s impact on job creation and economic growth in the region, and the companies\u2019 commitment to pursuing an increasingly sustainable model.
\nJoaqu\u00edn highlighted the sector\u2019s remarkable adaptability and the evolution of professional roles, which are becoming more technical without losing the essence of traditional work.
\n\u201cIt\u2019s a great responsibility to maintain sustainable growth, always reading and responding to our surroundings.\u201d<\/p>\n

A second panel also emphasized the important role of meat as a healthy and nutritious food, as well as its relevance to the Mediterranean diet and our cultural heritage.<\/p>\n
