Costa Brava Foods, a leading company in its market segment with both national and international presence, is looking to recruit a REFRIGERATION AND GENERAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN to join its plant in Les Preses, Embutidos Caseros Collell, for our plant maintenance department.
The main mission of the selected person will be to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the refrigeration facilities and general services of the meat processing plant, guaranteeing continuity of the production process and compliance with applicable regulations in terms of safety, quality, and the environment. Their main tasks will include:
Refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of refrigeration and freezing equipment.
- Operation and management of cold tunnels and equipment using NH₃, CO₂, or fluorinated refrigerants.
- Monitoring of temperatures, pressures, and performance.
- Compliance with RSIF and fluorinated gas regulations.
General services
- Basic maintenance of the industrial wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
- Supervision of MV/HV electrical installations and electrical panels.
- Operation and maintenance of compressed air systems.
- Maintenance of cold and hot water networks and Legionella control.
Cross-functional tasks
- Recording of interventions in the CMMS.
- Coordination of external maintenance services.
- Support to Production, Quality, and H&S in critical incidents.
- Proposal of technical and energy efficiency improvements.
Safety and environment
- Strict compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention regulations, use of PPE, and internal procedures.
- Prevention of environmental risks (leaks, spills, consumption).
The profile we are looking for corresponds to a professional with vocational training (Intermediate or Advanced Level) in technical specialties such as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems, Electromechanical Maintenance, or Industrial Electricity (an advantage). In addition, the candidate must hold a professional refrigeration technician license, training in electricity, Legionella prevention, and Occupational Risk Prevention, and have at least 3 years of professional experience in an industrial environment (preferably food industry).
This is a newly created position with a direct impact on operational efficiency and the reliability of the facilities.
The working schedule will be full-time.
