Job Offer Details: QUALITY TECHNICIAN (SANT JAUME DE LLIERCA)
Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods, a leader in the meat industry market segment with national and international presence, is seeking to hire a Quality Technician – Document Management for its plant in Sant Jaume de Llierca, Embutidos Monter, to join the quality team at Embutidos Monter S.L.U. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a meat and/or food company.
Reporting directly to the Quality Coordinator and the Quality Managers of each plant, the mission of the position will be to join the document management activities of the Quality Department at the Embutidos Monter plants. The main responsibilities will be as follows:
– Work on the document management of the quality system (prepare, review, update, file, and keep up to date the documentation and records associated with the quality system, food fraud, food defense, and HACCP).
– Manage non-conformities detected in raw materials, including communication with suppliers and follow-up of corrective actions.
The tasks will be mainly administrative and related to documentation management.

Requirements:
- The profile we are seeking requires a university degree in Veterinary Science, Food Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, and/or a related field. Candidates with a Higher Vocational Training qualification (CFGS) in Food Industries and the required experience will also be considered.
- An organized, meticulous, and responsible person with decision-making skills.
- High level of Spanish and Catalan.
