Our plant in Riudellots (Girona) has obtained the ISO 50001:2018 certification, the world’s most widely used standard for efficient corporate energy management.

This standard sets out the requirements for an efficient Energy Management System (EnMS) and focuses on the sustainable management of energy use in order to minimize the environmental impact of industrial activity.

During the verification process, our energy policies, the energy aspects of our facilities, the objectives defined in our sustainability plan “Roadmap 23-25,” and the management of the energy used in all phases of the production process, from manufacturing to storage, were reviewed. In addition, aspects such as the training and awareness-raising initiatives we provide to our employees in terms of sustainability and resource management were also evaluated.

Achieving this certification reinforces the work we carry out together with our suppliers to ensure sustainability throughout the entire value chain.
