HOW ARE WE DOING IT?

  • Our entire supply chain, and obviously all of our companies, comply with Spanish and European Union animal welfare legislation, some of the most stringent laws in this area.
  • We carry out training and awareness-raising programmes among employees to ensure correct practices.
  • We adhere to the criteria of the World Organisation for Animal Health and we audit our own farms, and those of our suppliers, to make sure the breeding and fattening process respects the physical integrity of livestock and is socially responsible.
  • Our experts check that the animals are healthy, well-fed and not thirsty, comfortable in their resting area, free of disease and pain, and express a positive emotional state.
  • We do not use antibiotics or growth hormones.
  • We do not conduct experiments of any kind on animals.
