Job Offer Details: QUALITY TECHNICIAN (OLOT)
Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods, a leader in the meat industry market segment, with national and international presence, is looking to incorporate a Quality Technician at its Olot plant, Embutidos Caseros Collell, to join the plant’s Quality team.
The mission of the position is to join the plant’s Quality Department to ensure compliance with the policies established by the department, in accordance with the legal framework defined by the health authorities, with the aim of achieving and guaranteeing the quality of all products manufactured at the plant. Working hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 10:20 p.m., Monday to Friday. The main responsibilities include:

Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards for manufactured products, following established records and instructions.

Verification of self-control records.

Resolution of production incidents.

Supervision and execution of production self-checks.

Factory inspections. Monitoring of production processes: operator performance; compliance with plant operating instructions and procedures; operational controls; inspection of raw material, intermediate product, and finished product stocks to ensure proper rotation; verification of order and cleanliness in the plant; control of cleaning processes.

Detection and control of non-conforming products.

Support during inspections, audits, and certification processes.

Delivery of training sessions to plant personnel on instructions, procedures, records, etc.

Requirements:

Secondary education or higher education qualification related to the food or scientific field.

Proficiency in Catalan and/or Spanish.

Advanced office skills (creation of Excel templates, document updates, etc.).
Experience in the food industry and in quality departments will be valued.
