Job Offer Details: HYGIENE MANAGER (SERINYÀ, LES PLANES, SANT JAUME DE LLIERCA)
Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods, a leader in the meat industry market segment, is seeking to hire a Hygiene Manager for its Embutidos Monter S.L.U. plants. The ideal candidate will have experience in the cleaning sector and, preferably, experience in the meat and/or food industry.
Reporting directly to the Quality Coordinator and working as part of a team with the Quality Managers at each plant, and integrated within the Quality Department, the main mission of the position is to ensure the maintenance of hygienic and sanitary conditions of the facilities, in order to guarantee the safety and wholesomeness of products and production processes. The role involves carrying out controls and managing teams of people across different shifts. The main responsibilities are as follows:
– Define, manage, and ensure the implementation of the Plant Hygiene Plan.
– Carry out environmental and surface microbiological controls.
– Conduct internal audits and follow up on non-conformities.
– Manage suppliers (cleaning companies, chemical products) and control stock levels.
– Manage and evaluate costs and control budgets under their responsibility.

Requirements:
- The profile we are seeking requires a university degree in Veterinary Science, Biology, Chemistry, and/or a related field. Candidates with a Higher Vocational Training qualification (CFGS) in Food Industries will also be considered.
- A dynamic and proactive person, with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a team, and schedule flexibility.
- High level of Spanish and Catalan.
