Job Details: SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY TECHNICIAN (RIUDELLOTS DE LA SELVA)
Costa Brava Foods, a leading company in its market segment with both national and international presence, is seeking to incorporate, due to its growth and expansion plan, a Senior OH&S Technician to collaborate in the management and implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety area at its Riudellots de la Selva plant.
Reporting directly to the OH&S Manager, based at the main Riudellots de la Selva plant, the main mission of the selected person will be to implement and manage OH&S policies, with the corresponding control and follow-up. Main tasks will include:
– Planning and promoting prevention measures.
– Carrying out workplace and risk assessments.
– Conducting investigations of workplace accidents.
– Training employees in OH&S matters.
– Acting as a liaison between the Prevention Service and the company.
– Performing other tasks inherent to the position.
The profile we are looking for corresponds to a professional with a minimum university degree (e.g.: Psychology, Business Administration, Technical Engineering, …). A Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, with the three accredited specializations (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Applied Psychosociology), or a Degree in Prevention and Integral Safety, is essential.
A minimum of 4–5 years of experience in a similar position is required, either in an in-house Prevention Service or an External Prevention Service.
