    At Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods, we understand that responsibility does not end with the production chain, so we take responsibility for making a positive contribution to the well-being of people and the sustainable development of their environment. Our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy (CSR) is based on three pillars linked to the integral development of people: social inclusion, training and health.

  • Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) Policy

    Our Group will only consider working with genetically modified (GMO) ingredients when they have passed food safety assessment procedures, and have been registered as safe for use in food production by the WHO, FAO or other independent scientific bodies.

  • Nutrition and Health Policy

    Our aim to offer food products of the highest quality, balanced and healthy, made with sustainability and adapted to the tastes and needs of today’s consumers, involves promoting products that include as few artificial ingredients as possible, labels that provide the most comprehensible information possible and basing our actions on the defence of a balanced and healthy diet.

    Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods main objective is to achieve the satisfaction of its clients and consumers, guaranteeing the service with the production of safe, legal and quality products.

  • Occupational Risk Policy

    We promote the following Occupational Risk Prevention Policy, based on the commitment to eliminate hazards and reduce risks that have not been eliminated, on the basis that it is a permanent and priority objective, assumed by all the members of the Organisation and committed to the continuous improvement of the management of the Health and Safety of people.

  • Marketing Policy

    Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods’ Marketing Policy is based on its Code of Ethics to guarantee the fundamental rights of its customers.

  • Animal Welfare Policy

    An animal is in a satisfactory state of welfare when it is healthy, free from hunger and thirst, with comfort in the resting area, thermal comfort, ease of movement, freedom from injury, disease and pain, and appropriate behaviour.

  • Policy for the Prohibition of Live Animal Testing

    Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods and its subsidiaries, Pig Livestock Union SL and Leridana de Piensos, which have already subscribed to the Group’s Animal Welfare Policy.

  • Sustainable Aquaculture Policy

    The Group is committed to food safety and product quality and to this responsibility it is committed to working with suppliers in its supply chain who meet its standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Anti-corruption Policy

    The Board of Directors of Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods has approved this Anti-Corruption Policy.

  • Internal Reporting Channel

    We apply an effective management and response system for possible complaints that may be presented with a regulated process of mandatory compliance with evaluation of the incidence.

    We seek an enabling environment. We assume multiculturalism with teams of people of 50 nationalities and non-discrimination based on race, colour, sex, marital status, ideology, religion…
