Awarded at the 9th Keicho Awards of the Japan–Spain Business Circle
The Board of Directors of the Japan–Spain Business Circle has selected us as the winners of the 9th Keicho Awards, a distinction that highlights our role as drivers of business development and our commitment to fostering relations between Japan and Spain.
These awards aim to recognize innovation and technology applied to various projects and initiatives developed throughout the year. In this edition, we have been selected in the Spanish company category, in recognition of our work in the Japanese market, where we strive to innovate, differentiate ourselves and, above all, promote an emblem as characteristic of us as Spanish gastronomy and the Mediterranean diet.
In collaboration with our Japanese partners Itoham-Yonekyu, we carried out the Kuraban project, an innovative technology that allows us to export fresh meat from Spain to Japan with more than eighty days of shelf life, without the need for freezing, thanks to the use of electromagnetic supercooling. This new technology breaks the traditional barriers of transporting perishable products over long distances, while always maintaining our highest quality, and represents a milestone in food logistics. Furthermore, it opens up a new sea of possibilities for trade between Europe and Asia.
We are grateful for the opportunities offered by the Japanese market, as well as for the trust placed in us by Itoham-Yonekyu in developing this joint project. And, of course, to the Japan–Spain Business Circle for this important recognition for our company.
