In line with our commitment to sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our adherence to the United Nations Global Compact became effective during the month of May. This is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, which every year promotes an action plan aimed at aligning companies’ operations with universal principles.
This plan is based on four fundamental pillars that integrate the SDGs: human rights, labour standards, the environment, and anti-corruption. By integrating the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into our strategy, we remain committed to creating a better future for everyone.
We join more than 1,800 Spanish entities and over 25,000 organisations worldwide that are committed to carrying out responsible corporate actions towards our environment and the planet.
Adhering to the UN Global Compact means aligning our strategic operations with the Ten universally accepted Principles and reaffirms our commitment to contributing through our sustainability strategic plan, ‘Horizon 10 Objectives’.
This commitment guides our decisions and drives us to act responsibly, protecting the environment, defending human rights, and contributing to a more sustainable and equitable system.
