Our contribution to the MORPHEUS project at IDIBGI

Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods is pleased to announce its participation, in form of a donation, with the Cerebrovascular Pathology research group of the Institute of Biomedical Research of Girona (IDIBGI). The aim of this institute is to promote, develop, manage, transfer and disseminate biomedical research, scientific and technological knowledge, teaching and training in its fields of action. The work being carried out by this institute, which is linked to the Dr. Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona, is magnificent and will surely serve to continue advancing in scientific areas that are so important today to improve society in general and the quality of life.

This particular research, MORPHEUS project, is linked to the Stroke Unit of the Trueta Hospital, which wants to evaluate for the first time the role of general anaesthesia and conscious sedation in posterior circulation strokes treated with mechanical thrombectomy (removal of a thrombus blocking blood circulation).
