Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods’ Sustainability Coordinator, Joaquín Navarro, took part in the 333 Experience Congress España, organised by 3tres3 and held in Lleida on 22, 23 and 24 September 2026.

During the event, we took part in the session ‘Sustainability and Spanish Meat Companies’, where we had the opportunity to present and explain our strategic sustainability plan, ‘Horizon 10 Goals ’, based on ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria.

“The future of the sector depends on clearly defined ESG guidelines: only what can be measured can contribute. And every task, from every area of the business, must be able to contribute its part to that result,” Joaquín highlighted during his speech.

This roadmap includes 10 areas of action that allow us to measure our progress, set targets and adapt our actions to the needs and challenges facing the sector at any given time, thereby moving towards an increasingly sustainable business model.

In addition, Joaquín took part in the round table ‘The Evolution and Future of International Trade in the Pork Sector’, alongside representatives from ANPROGAPOR, Grupo Agrobox, Cercafé and La Floresta. The discussion focused on the future of sustainability in the meat industry and the measures that different companies, both from Spain and Latin America, are already implementing to make progress towards their goals.

These types of events provide an opportunity to share experiences, exchange knowledge and gain first-hand insight into the progress being made across the meat industry in terms of sustainability, efficiency and resource consumption reduction.
