Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods, a major company in the food sector, is looking to incorporate at its offices in the Gironès area a Technical Analyst Programmer, who will join a consolidated project with global scope. The role is oriented towards the optimization and control of the company’s production and management systems and processes, as well as collecting, storing, and exploiting information to facilitate analysis and improve decision-making.
Main tasks and responsibilities will include:
– Developing software applications to optimize, automate, and control the company’s management and production processes.
– Installing and maintaining systems and equipment necessary to implement IT processes (computers, printers, touchscreens, PDAs, among others).
– Managing and maintaining organizational users at both IT and software level, as well as creating new users.
– Installing and maintaining file servers and other shared data tools.
– Providing support to users from any department that uses IT tools from different development areas (in-house or external programs, office tools, operating systems, etc.).
– Collecting, storing, and exploiting company data through programs and reports that reflect the real state and progress of company processes.
– Ensuring the proper functioning of the company’s software applications.
Required education:
Higher Vocational Training in IT Systems Administration. A university degree in Computer Engineering will be valued.
Required experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
Experience in IT systems maintenance, preferably in the food industry.
Experience in software programming tasks.
